Delete your account

You can delete your Queuely account and its data in the app, or ask us to do it if you no longer have the app.

The short version

  • In the app: Settings, Account, Delete account. It needs internet.
  • It removes your account, your cloud backup and the shop on that phone. It can't be undone.
  • Want a copy first? Save a backup file from Export and import before you delete.
  • Pro is not cancelled for you. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account so you aren't charged again.

Delete it in the app

  1. Open Queuely on the phone you signed in with and connect to the internet.
  2. Go to Settings, then Account, and tap Delete account.
  3. Read the three points. To keep a copy of your shop, tap Save a backup file first, save the file, then come back.
  4. Tap Delete account. The app returns to the Welcome screen, ready for a new shop.

If you never signed in

Without an account there is no cloud backup to delete. Your queue lives on your phone, and uninstalling the app removes it from this phone. [Whether the phone's own backup can bring it back after a reinstall, to confirm].

Your shop may still have details on our servers for online features, such as the join page and the display screen. To have them removed, send a request to [how to send a request without the app] with [how a shop without an account is identified, to decide].

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or the phone, send a request to [how to send a request without the app]. Include the email address of the Google or Apple account you signed in with, so we can find your shop. If you chose Hide My Email with Apple, give the address shown for Queuely under Sign in with Apple in your Apple account settings.

We delete the account and its data as described below.

What is deleted

  • Your account and its link to your Google or Apple sign-in.
  • Your cloud backup: queue, token history, shop profile and settings.
  • Your shop's online pages: the join page, the status page and the display screen stop working.
  • The shop on that phone, when you delete in the app.

Data on our servers is removed within [30 days, proposed]. [Anything the law asks us to keep, and for how long].

Backup files you saved yourself stay wherever you saved them. Delete them there if you no longer need them.

Cancel Pro in the store

Deleting your account does not stop a Pro subscription, because Apple and Google handle the payments. Cancel it before you delete:

  • iPhone or iPad: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Queuely, Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Google Play, your profile picture, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Queuely, Cancel subscription.

A lifetime purchase has nothing to cancel.

If you joined a shop's queue and want your name or phone number removed, contact that shop. The shop decides what it keeps, and we help it answer you. See the privacy policy.
