Queue and token system for labs and sample collection
Labs see a rush of customers early in the morning, many of them fasting and keen to be seen. Queuely gives each one a token and calls them in order, from one phone.
The early morning rush
Many tests need a sample taken first thing, so the line forms before the doors open. Set the queue to open automatically at your opening time, and the first token is ready for the first customer.
Numbers restart each day, and a printed number never changes.
Calling customers to the collection room
Tap Call next when the collection room is free. The number shows on the waiting area screen with a chime, so customers do not need to watch the door.
A customer who missed their call moves to No-shows. When they come back, restore them and they go to the front of the queue.
Wait anywhere, see the turn on the phone
The QR on each ticket opens a status page with how many people are ahead and, if you choose, an estimated wait. When the customer is called, the page turns yellow with a chime.
The front desk QR poster lets customers take a token themselves, so reception stays free for questions.
Daily limits and closing time
If the lab can only collect so many samples a day, set a daily limit. With Close automatically on, new tokens stop a few minutes before closing, so everyone already waiting is seen.
You decide what happens to anyone still waiting at closing, including moving them to the front of the next day.
Questions
Can customers book a time slot?
No. Queuely is a walk-in queue, not an appointment book. Customers take a token and are called in order.
Can I stop tokens once we reach our daily capacity?
Yes. Set a daily limit in Queue rules, and Queuely stops issuing new tokens when it is reached.
Does Queuely store test results?
No. Queuely only runs the queue. It never holds test results, and a name or phone number is optional.
