Queue app for repair shops: drop-offs and pick-ups
Phone, laptop and appliance repair counters get busy in bursts, with people dropping off and collecting at the same time. Queuely gives each one a token and calls them in order.
Drop-offs and pick-ups in one line
Issue a token as each customer comes in, whether they are leaving a device or collecting one. Add a name and phone number if it helps you find them later.
Search the queue by name, phone or token number to find someone in seconds.
Quick pick-ups without the long wait
Collecting a ready device takes a minute. Call that customer out of turn from the queue list, or move them up for a good reason, and everyone else keeps their number.
Called the wrong one? Tap Undo within 5 seconds.
Wait at the cafe, not at the counter
The QR on each ticket shows how many people are ahead. Customers can step out, come back when they are close, and tap 'I'm on my way' so you know they are coming.
You can also share the ticket to the customer's phone, for example on WhatsApp.
Rules for a small shop
Set your hours, and a daily limit if you can only see so many customers a day. While you are at the bench, Take a break shows when you are back on the TV and customers' phones.
Everything at the counter works offline, so a weak signal in the shop never stops you.
Questions
Does Queuely track repair jobs?
No. Queuely runs the counter queue, not a job list. It tells you who is next, and history shows who came and when.
Can I keep drop-offs and pick-ups in separate queues?
Queuely runs one queue from one phone. Both wait in the same line, and you can call a quick pick-up out of turn.
A customer missed their call. Do they lose their place?
They move to No-shows today. When they come back, tap Restore and they go to the front of the queue.
