Backup and your data
Your shop's data always lives on the shop phone first. A cloud backup is added when you sign in.
Where is my data saved?
Always on this phone. When you are signed in and online, every change is also copied to your Queuely cloud backup within seconds.
What happens offline?
Changes are saved on the phone and wait. Settings → Backup and sync shows how many are waiting. They upload automatically when you reconnect.
How do I know my backup is up to date?
Settings → Backup and sync shows when your shop last synced. Tap Sync now before you switch phones.
How do I move to a new phone?
Install Queuely on the new phone and tap Bring my shop from another phone. Sign in with the same Google or Apple account, or import a backup file you saved. If the old phone still works, connect it to the internet for a minute first.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes. Settings → Export and import saves a backup file or a spreadsheet of your tokens. It works offline.
I never signed in. How do I keep my shop safe?
Save a backup file now and then from Settings → Export and import, and keep it somewhere safe such as your email or Google Drive. Or sign in once, and backups happen by themselves.
Is customer data private?
Customer names and numbers are used only to call them and are deleted after 90 days. Support requests never include customer details.
