Customer pages
Customers never install an app. They scan a QR code and see a simple web page.
What is the status page?
The QR printed on each token opens it. It shows the customer's number, how many people are ahead, the estimated wait (if you show it) and who is being served now. When called, the whole page turns yellow with the chime.
What can customers do there?
"I'm on my way" shows Coming next to their token on your list. "Leave queue" marks their token red on your list so you can remove it.
What if the customer has no internet?
The page says they are offline and shows their number. Their paper token and your calling still work.
What if my phone is offline?
Their page keeps the last update and says live updates are paused. Their place is safe and you call them as normal.
